Q: Are there any age restrictions?
A: Children are welcome on the tour, but please bear in mind that some children have a limited attention span and a 2 or 3 hour long tour may not be appropriate for them. Parents know their children best and should assess the situation individually, but there are no refunds based on a child not taking or completing the tour. Children under the age of 10 go free. From 10 to 15 years old there is a flat rate of £50 per child and from 16 years old onwards the full fee applies.
Q: What happens if it rains?
A: Tours take place rain or shine. If the weather is severe or dangerous, the tour may be cancelled and ticket holders will be accommodated or refunded.
Q: Does the tour start and end at the same place?
A: The tour will most likely not end where it started but will end around the area chosen to shop.
Q: What stores do we go in?
A: Although the guides do have a few favourite shops, there's no set list of stores that are visited. However, you can expect to explore the area of your choice to ensure a special shopping experience, so you are sure to see hot, trendy shops!
Q: How much time do we have to shop at each of the stores?
A: 8-10 shops are visited during these tours, spending approximately 10 minutes in each shop so you can see a wide cross section of shops. At the end of the tour, you may go back to your favourite shops to continue shopping.
Q: How physically fit do I need to be to enjoy this tour?
A: Tours walk at an easy pace. That means this tour is generally appropriate for all ages and fitness levels, but please use your best judgment.
Q: Is the tour wheelchair and stroller accessible?
A: Yes, this tour is wheelchair and stroller accessible.
Q: Are cameras allowed?
A: Yes! In fact, your guides strongly encourage participants to take photos during the tour. However, video cameras or tape recorders are NOT allowed.
Q: Are there bathrooms along the way?
A: It is strongly advised that participants use the restroom before joining the tour. However, guides will work in a bathroom stop during the tour.
Q: Is there anywhere to buy food or drinks along the way? Can I bring my own?
A: Sure! While no food or drinks are included in the ticket price, feel free to pack light snacks and drinks or purchase them along the way.
Q: Are dogs/pets allowed on the tour?
A: Sorry, but all pets - with the exception of trained guide dogs - are prohibited on the tour.
